Announcements
POOL CLOSED: Wednesday, July 15th at 7:30pm until close
We need to replace our drain covers in the deep end this week. This is required by state regulations. We have tried to do this ourselves to not impact operating hours, however we need to contract out to complete this immediately. We apologize for the inconvenience. We expect to re-open Thursday morning, July 16th. |
Greetings of July
THANK YOU for helping us follow Oregon Health Authority guidelines at the Vineyard Mountain Swim Club. Extra thanks to those volunteers who have been pre-scheduled monitors during extra hot, busy days. And kudos to our pool workers for keeping the pool cleaned up and in order. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay open! We appreciate
A few items of concern: 1. Please drive SLOWLY on all access roads. The Park District has opened new trails and there are a lot of walkers, children and pets on the roadways. 2 We found alcohol containers at/in the pool one morning last week. It appears to be an "after hours" event. We have been in touch with the Benton County sheriff. Anyone found in the pool area after 10pm will be cited and member(s) will lose their membership. We will be installing an "after hours" security camera. Exciting news! We are ordering more of the ever popular Vineyard Mountain t-shirts, sweatshirts and tote bags! See ordering information below. Please use this link to submit your order by July 12th. Thank you, VMSC Board Cara Fritz Ian Quick Joe McLoughlin Kate Sanders Lisa Hoogesteger Mike Unsworth Suzanne Remillard |
2020 Plans as of May 19th
Here's a brief summary of what we know and what we are planning:
|
End of The Season: Pool Closes This Sunday (Sept 15)
We will be closing the pool for the season this Sunday (Sept. 15) at 5pm. Come on out for a last dip. We would appreciate some help on Sunday evening to put the furniture away. |
Bylaws and Board of Directors update (July 23, 2019)
Thanks to all who voted either in person or online. We have confirmation of our new Bylaws and the addition of Kate Sanders as the Secretary for the Board of Directors. The new bylaws are posted in the Document Archive. Also, we're reviewing the Pool Rules and Standards of Behavior. Please add comments to the posted information at the pool. Finally, we're at the limit for members this season and are not taking any new memberships. Happy Swimming, Joe McLoughlin |
Mowing Sunday (6/23) at 8 am
The field by the pool will be mowed on Sunday morning at 8 am. We will close the parking area while the tractor is in operation (less than an hour, we expect). If you come by the pool at that time, please park at the auxiliary parking area near Burgundy Place. Or walk/bike to the pool instead. |
Alternative Parking
If our main parking area is full, there's some additional parking available in the cul-de-sac (Burgundy Place) near the steps to the pool. If the parking area near the pool is full, please use the alternative parking. Please be courteous to nearby homeowners and don't block driveways. Or better yet, walk or bike to the pool!. |
