Vineyard Mountain Swim Club Pool Rules and Regulations
These rules are intended to provide for the safe enjoyment of the pool by all members.
Please review these rules with all members of your household! Members that do not comply risk termination of their membership. If we don’t follow jurisdictional rules, we risk getting shut down by the state. The pool is under video surveillance at all times.
Health and Safety:
There is NO lifeguard on Duty – swim at your own risk.
A representative must sign-in for their group when entering the facility and indicate the correct number of members and guests visiting the pool that day.
Shower before entering the pool.
State law requires a child under 14 years of age to be accompanied by an adult (18 yrs. or older). The adult must supervise their child(ren) at all times.
All lights must be on at dusk.
No alcoholic beverages allowed.
No food allowed within 3 feet of the pool.
No glass containers
No chewing gum
No smoking, vaping, other tobacco or marijuana use on pool grounds – including smokeless tobacco products and electronic cigarettes.
Swimmers who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper that is elastic fitting around the legs and waist.
Do not come to the pool if you are exhibiting any symptoms such as: Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
No person with skin rash, open sores, or an infectious disease shall enter the pool.
No running, pushing, backflips or throwing others into the pool.
No jumping onto objects (innertubes, kickboards, floaties) from pool deck.
No pets are allowed within the fenced pool area.
Life rings and other safety equipment may not be used for play.
Community Guidelines: Members must ensure family and guests follow pool rules and sign in.
Pool guest limits:
Maximum 4 guests per household/membership unit per day and 15 guests per month.
Unaccompanied 14-17 year olds may have one guest (14 years old, or older) per membership and this counts toward the daily and monthly limit.
The playing of games or other activities must not interfere with the enjoyment of the pool by other members.
Only use pool furniture for their intended use. (e.g. Don’t put chairs in the pool!)
No amplified sound – use headphones with personal audio/music devices.
Our pool is an open recreational swim at all hours.
Please be considerate of lap swimmers.
Formal paid swim instruction (ie: swim lessons) are not permitted at the pool.
Please speak up if others are not following these rules or contact a Board member.
Operating Schedule:
Pool is open daily from mid-May to mid-September, weather permitting.
2025 Operating Dates:
Saturday, May 18 from 9 am - noon: Opening pool work party, all welcome
(and maybe you can even swim for a short time afterward for helping!)
POOL OFFICIALLY opens Friday, May 23 from 8 am – 9 pm *
June 13 – Sept. 2, pool hours are extended to 8 am - 10 pm *
Sept. 3 and after, pool closes at 9 pm until the end of the season (date TBD, weather dependent)
*The last hour is always considered a quiet hour.
The pool is under video surveillance at all times and the gate is locked at closing. No trespassing. Trespassers will prompt a call to the Benton County Sheriff. Members that do not comply with pool rules risk termination of their membership.
