Rules and Regulations

 

Vineyard Mountain Swim Club Pool Rules and Regulations 

These rules are intended to provide for the safe enjoyment of the pool my all members.  As a member you are encouraged to request others to abide by these rules. 

Please review these rules with all members of your family! 

Operating Schedule: 

Pool hours are from 8 AM to 10 PM. Use of the pool after 10 PM has generally been by non-members and has resulted in vandalism. The gate will be locked at 10 PM and security patrols are randomly performed. The Benton County Sheriff will be called to investigate trespassers. 

General Rules: 

  1. There is NO lifeguard on Duty. All persons using the pool do so at their own risk  

  1. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 10 PM.  

  1. State law requires a child under 14 years of age to be accompanied by an adult (18 yrs. of age or older). The adult must constantly supervise their children while the kids are in the pool. 

  1. Any child between ages 14-18 without adult supervision must comply with pool rules.  Any adult at the pool may issue a warning if inappropriate behavior is being displayed.  If it continues they may be asked to leave.  

  1. Members are to sign-in when entering the pool area.  

  1. Only the use or audio/music devices such as radios, CD players, MP3 players, etc, with headphones is permitted.  

  1. The playing of games or other activities should not interfere with the enjoyment of the pool by other members.  

  1. Use of pool furniture for any purpose other than their intended use is prohibited.   

  1. No food allowed within 3 feet of the pool. 

  1.  No alcoholic beverages allowed. 

  1. VMSC facilities are tobacco-free. Smoking and other tobacco use is prohibited indoors and outdoors of the facilities and on the grounds. In addition to cigarettes and cigars, the use of smokeless tobacco products and electronic cigarettes are also prohibited. 

  1. Showers are mandatory before entering the pool. 

  1. Private parties must be approved by the VMSC Board. 

 

Guest Policy: 

  1. Membership units are allowed 12 guests per month and up to 3 individual guests or one guest family per day.    

  1. Junior members, under 21 years of age, may bring up to 2 guests per day.  

  1. If a member’s guests exceed 12 per month, they will be charged a $3 guest fee at the end of the season. 

  1. Guests MUST be accompanied by a member. 

  1. Each member is required to sign in at every visit and indicate the number of guests they have in attendance.  

Safety and Health Rules: 

  1. No running and pushing.  

  1. No person with skin rash, open sores, or an infectious disease shall enter the pool.  

  1. Glass and chewing gum are not allowed within the fenced area.  

  1. No pets are allowed within the fenced pool area  

  1. Life rings and other safety equipment may not be used for play.
