Vineyard Mountain Swim Club Pool Rules and Regulations
These rules are intended to provide for the safe enjoyment of the pool by all members. As a member you are encouraged to request others to abide by these rules.
Please review these rules with all members of your household! If we don’t follow jurisdictional rules we risk getting shut down. The pool is under video surveillance at all times.
General Rules:
There is NO lifeguard on Duty- swim at your own risk.
A representative must sign-in for their group when entering the facility and indicate the correct number of guests.
Shower before entering the pool.
State law requires a child under 14 years of age to be accompanied by an adult (18 yrs. of age or older). The adult must constantly supervise their children at all times.
The playing of games or other activities must not interfere with the enjoyment of the pool by other members. See health and safety rules below.
All lights must be on at dark.
No alcoholic beverages allowed.
No food allowed within 3 feet of the pool.
No glass containers
No chewing gum
No smoking, vaping, other tobacco or marijuana use on pool grounds – including smokeless tobacco products and electronic cigarettes.
No amplified sound – use headphones with personal audio/music devices.
Swimmers who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper that is elastic fitting around the legs and waist.
Only use pool furniture for their intended use. (e.g. Don’t put chairs in the pool!)
Keep out of the way of lap swimmers.
Guest Policy:
Members can bring guests following these limitations: -
Maximum 4 guests per household/membership unit per day and 15 guests per month.
Unaccompanied 14-17 year olds may have one guest (14 years old, or older) per membership and this counts toward the daily and monthly limit.
Members must ensure guests follow pool rules and sign in.
Safety and Health Rules:
Do not come to the pool if you are exhibiting any symptoms such as: Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
No person with skin rash, open sores, or an infectious disease shall enter the pool.
No running, pushing, backflips or throwing others into the pool.
No jumping onto objects (innertubes, kickboards, floaties) from pool deck.
No pets are allowed within the fenced pool area.
Life rings and other safety equipment may not be used for play.
